This is Antron McCray's full confession
that was videotaped in the days following
the attacks in Central Park, which took
place on the night of April 19, 1989. In
the video, Antron McCray is interviewed by
Assistant DA Elizabeth Lederer. In the
Netflix
When They See Us
miniseries, he is portrayed as a youth by
Caleel Harris and as an adult by Jovan
Adepo. As McCray is questioned and gives
his confession, he talks about the various
assaults and attempted assaults, including
the attack on jogger Trisha Meili. He
tries to place most of the blame on Yusef
Salaam, who he repeatedly refers to as
"the tall black kid."
