Patrick Downes and Jessica Kensky Interview

Boston Marathon Bombing survivors and amputees Patrick Downes and Jessica Kensky talk about what it was like to see their story come to life on the big screen in Patriots Day. The couple worked closely with the filmmakers to help ensure that the movie was accurate. In a moment of triumph since the attack, Patrick Downes, who lost his left leg in the bombings, completed the 2016 Boston Marathon (see Patrick cross the finish line). Jessica Kensky's road to recovery has been longer and fraught with setbacks, including eventually losing her right leg too.
