I Can tells the inspirational story of Katelyn Pavey, an All-American softball player who was born missing a significant portion of her left arm. As a result of her talent, Pavey received a full scholarship to Kentucky Christian University where she studied Christian Leadership. Katelyn Pavey was born with a rare skeletal disorder that caused her left arm to stop growing around the elbow. As seen in the I Can trailer, actress Danner Brown portrays Pavey in the movie.
