Hamilton's historical accuracy mostly comes into question around the musical's exaggeration of Alexander Hamilton and Angelica Schuyler's relationship. Did Hamilton and Angelica have an affair? That's the opinion of some historians, which is likely not the real story. While the Lin-Manuel Miranda-created Broadway musical on Disney Plus doesn't go that far, it still exaggerates their relationship and leaves out certain facts that make their deep love in the musical even more unlikely.
