Under the Banner of Heaven Trailer
In this FX miniseries, a devout detective
(Andrew Garfield) investigates the brutal
1984 double murder of Brenda Lafferty and
her infant daughter Erica. The two
suspects, brothers Ron and Dan Lafferty,
were members of a splinter group of the
LDS Church called the School of Prophets.
Brenda had been married to Ron and Dan's
younger brother, Allen Lafferty. Ron
claimed that God told him to commit the
murders. As seen in the
Under the
Banner of Heaven trailer, the
miniseries also stars Sam Worthington and
Daisy Edgar-Jones.
