The
Till movie tells the story of
the August 28, 1955 lynching of
14-year-old Emmett Till and his mother
Mamie Till-Mobley's subsequent fight for
justice. Till was accused of whistling at
and touching Carolyn Bryant, a white
grocery store cashier. Carolyn's
then-husband, Roy Bryant, along with J.W.
Milam, savagely beat Till and shot him in
the head. As seen in the
Till
movie trailer, the film stars Danielle
Deadwyler and Jalyn Hall as Mamie and
Emmett Till.
