The
Survivor tells the story of Harry
Haft (Ben Foster), an inmate at Auschwitz
who boxed fellow prisoners in order to
survive. Haft tries to pursue a boxing
career in the U.S. after the war so that
the woman he loves might find him again.
Unsure if she's alive, he participates in
high-profile boxing matches against
champions like Rocky Marciano in the hope
that it will get her attention.
The
Survivor trailer also features Peter
Sarsgaard, John Leguizamo, Vicky Krieps,
and Danny DeVito.
