Pressure focuses on the role of
meteorologist James Stagg (portrayed by
Andrew Scott), who must deliver the most
consequential weather report in history to
Allied high command, which will determine
when the execution of Operation Overlord
will commence, starting with D-Day. Damian
Lewis' character, Bernard Montgomery, is
in charge of all Allied ground forces
during Operation Overlord. 'Pressure' also
stars Brendan Fraser as Dwight D.
Eisenhower, the Supreme Allied Commander
with whom the final decision rests.
