Miracle on the Hudson Rescue Footage
This video was recorded on January 15,
2009 by a Con Edison security camera on
Manhattan's West Side. The camera picks up
Flight 1549 immediately after pilot
Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger lands the
plane on the Hudson River. The 155
survivors can be seen climbing out onto
the plane's wings as they wait for rescue
boats to approach. Please note that the
time shown on the video is Greenwich Mean
Time (GMT), which is five hours ahead of
the actual time.
