accident, and the moment he knew he was
meant to be a priest. He touches on his
father and the girlfriend he had intended
to marry, who are represented in the
Father Stu movie by actors Mel
Gibson and Teresa Ruiz. Toward the end of
this Father Stu documentary, he talks
about why he believes that being diagnosed
with the muscular disorder inclusion body
myositis (IBM) was the best thing that
ever happened to him.
