Deepwater Horizon Sinking Footage
36 hours after the Deepwater Horizon
disaster began, the burning oil rig
started to sink into the sea at
approximately 10 a.m. The giant steel
vessel groaned and cried out for the last
time as explosions announced her farewell.
Firefighters later admitted that they were
fighting a losing battle from the start.
This footage highlights the Deepwater
