Jordan: A Story of Love and Honor. In
her memoir, Canedy chronicles the story of
her relationship with her former
fiancé, First Sergeant Charles
Monroe King, who died in Iraq in 2006.
Before his death, King penned a journal
for their son Jordan that would teach him
about the power of prayer and offer him
instructions on how to grow up and become
a good man. During this Dana Canedy
interview, she says that she decided to
write her book as a way to help process
the loss of her fiancé.
