Same Kind of Different as Me tells the story of international art dealer Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear), his wife Deborah (Renée Zellweger), and a homeless man named Denver Moore (Djimon Hounsou), who they befriend. Denver and Ron become close and in the process learn from each other, including Denver helping Ron to rediscover his marriage to Deborah, who is battling cancer.
