#Horror tells the story of six
junior high school girls who engage in
cyberbullying as they play a social
network game. Things spiral out of control
when a sleepover turns into a night of
horror. The film is loosely based on the
Slender Man stabbing that took place in
Wisconsin in 2014. During that event, two
12-year-old girls lured a classmate into
the woods and stabbed her 19 times,
claiming that they did it to impress the
fictional character known as Slender Man.
Miraculously, the badly wounded girl
crawled to a road where a cyclist saw her
and got help. She survived after being
"one millimeter away from certain death,"
according to the criminal complaint.
