The Glass Castle Trailer
The Glass Castle is based on the
2005 memoir by Jeannette Walls, in which
she recounts the downtrodden,
unconventional upbringing she and her
siblings had while being raised by their
severely dysfunctional parents. Her father
Rex Walls, portrayed by Woody Harrelson in
the movie, is an alcoholic who blows
through what little money the family has.
In order to avoid their debts, the family
moves constantly, leaving little in the
way of stability. Brie Larson plays the
adult Jeannette in the movie.
