Coach Darrell Royal Gives Freddie Steinmark Cotton Bowl Game Ball

Freddie Steinmark's story is retold at halftime of the Texas-Kansas game on November 10, 2015. The halftime tribute to Freddie Steinmark begins with footage of Freddie receiving the Cotton Bowl game ball from Longhorns coach Darrell Royal after the victory over Notre Dame on January 1, 1970.
