Ted Bundy Trial Death Sentencing

On July 31, 1979, Judge Edward D. Cowart sentenced Ted Bundy to die in the electric chair for the murder of two coeds in Florida. Bundy makes a statement at the sentencing, proclaiming his innocence. In a surprise turn, Cowart tells Bundy to take care of himself and that his actions are a total waste for humanity, going on to tell Bundy that he's a bright young man who would have made a good lawyer, but instead, "You went another way, partner."
