Oprah's Audience Reacts Live to O.J. Simpson Verdict (1995)

On October 3, 1995, O.J. Simpson's verdict unfolded live on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Some in the audience shouted with joy, while others were visibly disturbed and upset. These reactions seemed to somewhat fall down racial lines. However, not all black women in the audience, including Oprah herself, reacted joyfully.
