Chernobyl 3828 Biorobot Documentary
This 2011 Ukrainian documentary directed
by Sergei Zabolotnyy focuses on the
cleanup of one of the most dangerous areas
at Chernobyl following the disaster, the
nuclear power plant's rooftop. See footage
of the lunar rovers and the police robot
from West Germany named "Joker", all of
which succumbed to the high levels of
radiation on the roof. The decision to use
biorobots (humans) is focused on in the
documentary, which includes video of the
biorobots cleaning the roof, including one
who stumbles while stepping over
radioactive debris. The title of this
Chernobyl documentary refers to the 3,828
people who risked their lives to clear the
mostly graphite debris from the roof.
