Apollo 11 Moon Landing Live Broadcast Footage

Moon landing as it unfolded on July 20,
1969. Anchor Walter Cronkite delivers the
play-by-play of the touchdown on the lunar
surface. Footage of Neil Armstrong on the
Moon is shown and we hear him utter his
famous quote, "That's one small step for
man, one giant leap for mankind." We then
see video of fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin
stepping onto the Moon. The 1/6 gravity of
Earth is evident in the video. At the end,
footage of both Neil Armstrong and Buzz
Aldrin together is shown.
